Script
Due to the length of our trailer we didn't have a script, we used minimal dialogue throughout the trailer. The lines we do have in our trailer are the ones we are using for our tagline. "You'll soul she'll hold forever more" we thought this was effective because this line will be remembered by the people who view this trailer, it stands out because it is the only line that is said whichs gives it a lot of attention and makes people focus on the few words which are said. We were unsure if we should use much dialogue as we were more concerened about the music that would be playing in the trailer, and any other sound effects. From looking at a variety of different trailers, some with a considerable amount of dialogue and some with a very minimal amount, we thought that having less dialogue was more effective. We came to the decision of having a very small amount of dialogue in our trailer, we thought that less of the storyline owuld be given away, as some trailers, such as Ouija seem to give away more than the basic story. By mainly involving a small amount of speech, we know that the words spoken will be rememberable, this is why the tagline is spoken, as we want our audience to remember it and be able to associate it with out trailer.
