Mise-En-SceneLighting The majority of our shots were filmed in the dark areas with very low key lighting, we felt this would be the most apporpriate and effective for our possession themed trailer. We made sure that the video clip would be visable on camera by using flashlights and torches in areas that weren't naturally lit up by street lights or any other outdoor lighting. We made sure that our camera was positioned correctly in order to create the moving image intended. Some shots were filmed in high key lighting areas, as for the trailer we didnt need continuity. T.D Costumes Our costumes were very simplistic as we wanted to dress as casually as possible. As the main character was a school girl (dressed in non-uniform) we wanted to keep the costume simple. Any characters involved were dressed casually to match our storyline of a possessed teenage girl. T.D Props We surprisingly didn't use any props other than torches and the things that were around us at our chosen location. As we have chosen to recreate a possession theme we didn't need to have any props, such as fake blood or weapons. We knew that lighting would have a huge impact on how the final product would look so we brought the torch with us incase we needed to create more of a high key lighting shot. T.D Casting We needed a number of people to cast in our trailer, we had Talitha playing the lead role of Samara Wood and myself (Solomon) playing a lead male role throughout the trailer. We had a few other people in one shot to show that there are other people involved in the film, but to clearly define who the main characters are. S.H |
